Senior Sales Specialist – Azure Managed Redis
As a Senior Sales Specialist leading a key territory you will be part of a global team driving the adoption and growth of Azure Managed Redis, the strategic Redis joint cloud offering with Microsoft Azure. You’ll work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver cutting-edge Azure Managed Redis solutions that help organizations make informed decisions, drive innovation, and transform their businesses.
You will collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Azure Managed Redis revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for driving the YoY growth of Azure Managed Redis and its contribution percentage to the overall Redis business in your territory.
- Leveraging your cloud and technical sales experience, you will work closely with prospects and customers to drive Azure Managed Redis adoption and grow customer consumption
- You will identify and win net new customers and drive migrations from all other flavors of Redis to the new Azure Managed Redis offering,
- Act as a thought leader to define the Azure Managed Redis strategy in the market, leading speaking engagements highlighting industry-specific best practices & technical trends in advanced Data and AI space.
- Build and maintain a healthy business pipeline, leading with a proactive sales approach, a high level of curiosity, deep customer understanding and adopting a challenger mindset.
- Successfully drive productive collaboration with Microsoft counterparts in your region to aggressively drive co-sell.You will work with internal teams, partners, and services to lead the proposal or development of solutions that align with customers’ and Redis’ priorities, analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new solutions.
- Act as a mentor for team members and colleagues in the rapidly expanding field of Data and AI.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technology-related sales experience in the Data and AI space.
- Executive Presence. Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision-makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
- Exceptional interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills to succeed in a customer-facing role
- An understanding and passion for cloud computing technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and solution partners.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform and experience partnering with Microsoft enterprise sales teams.
- Takes initiative to independently grow technical knowledge – a growth mindset.
- Self-driven problem-solving attitude and a curious mind, willing to learn more and help others.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $124,000– $155,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
