[Install the Redis Enterprise Software package]() on one of the nodes in the cluster.\n\n1. Repeat this process for each node in the cluster.\n\nFor installation on machines without an internet connection, see [Offline installation]().\n\n## Permissions and access\n\n- Redis Enterprise Software installation creates the `redislabs:redislabs` user and group. \n\n Assigning other users to the `redislabs` group is optional. Users belonging to the `redislabs` group have permission to read and execute (e.g. use the `rladmin` status command) but are not allowed to write (or delete) files or directories.\n\n- Redis Enterprise Software is certified to run with permissions set to `750`, an industry standard.\n\n \nDo not reduce permissions to `700`. This configuration has not been tested and is not supported.\n \n\n- Redis Enterprise Software requires `umask` to be `0022` during installation to correctly set permissions for the installed directories and files.\n\n## More info and options\n\nIf you've already installed Redis Enterprise Software, you can also:\n\n- [Upgrade an existing deployment]().\n\n- [Uninstall an existing deployment]().\n\nTo learn more about customization and find answers to related questions, see:\n\n- [CentOS/RHEL Firewall configuration]()\n- [Change socket file location]()\n- [Cluster DNS configuration]()\n- [Cluster load balancer setup]()\n- [File locations]()\n- [Supported platforms]()\n- [Manage installation questions]()\n- [mDNS client prerequisites]()\n- [User and group ownership]()\n\n## Next steps\n\nAfter your cluster is set up with nodes, you can:\n\n- [Add users]() to the cluster with specific permissions. To begin, start with [Access control]().\n- [Create databases]() to use with your applications.\n\n",
