• For current Redis partners with a signed partner agreement and no competing product offerings, there is no immediate change.
• For integration partners who built client libraries or other integrations with Redis, there is no change.

• If you are currently offering a managed cloud service based on Redis OSS or providing value added services to customers on Redis OSS without a partner agreement, you will need to become a partner to continue to offer the latest and greatest Redis.

• The license change is not retroactive, so all source code and releases prior to the change can be used indefinitely under the original license, as long as you abide by its terms and conditions.
• We are also making an update to the Redis trademark policies. You can no longer use “for Redis” or “Redis” in your product names. You can use “Redis” in your product descriptions and documentation so long as you follow our Redis Trademark Policy.
