Tim Hall is the Chief Product Officer at Redis and oversees the product management teams for the company’s commercial software and managed services. His responsibilities also include overseeing the technical enablement, education, documentation, and developer relations teams. Tim is passionate about building products that developers love to use and that are easy to run and manage for customers. For more than a decade in senior leadership positions, his teams have been focused on executing to make these values a reality for leading open source, enterprise and developer products and cloud-based platforms at InfluxData, Hortonworks, Oracle and HP. Previously, Tim worked in professional services, building solutions and delivering systems integration projects for a wide variety of customers, from financial services to distribution and logistics companies and more.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in science and management with a concentration in physics from Claremont McKenna College.

Jonathan Cohen is Vice President of Applied Research at NVIDIA, where he leads development of platforms for Large Language Models and Speech AI. He also oversees development of genomics and drug discovery software. He previously held a variety of engineering and research roles, including founding the deep learning software organization in 2013. Jonathan additionally spent three years at Apple as Director of Engineering. Early in his career, he specialized in computer graphics in the feature film visual effect industry, winning a Scientific and Technical Academy Award in 2007. He graduated from Brown University with a degree in Math and Computer Science.

Paul Ford is Redis Vice President of Developer Relations. Paul brings a powerful combination of IaaS industry expertise and entrepreneurial know-how to drive widespread adoption of Redis’ products and services by developers everywhere.

Ford has a long and rich history in the technology industry, having spent over 20 years in senior leadership roles. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Storj, an Atlanta-based decentralized cloud object storage company for developers. Prior to joining Storj, Ford was Vice President of Product, Marketing and Community Development at SendGrid, a Techstars company. During his tenure, the company went public through an IPO (SEND), annual revenue and customer base tripled, and it was acquired by San Francisco-based cloud communications platform Twilio (TWLO) in a $3 billion transaction.

Before SendGrid, Ford was the Vice President of Marketing and Ecosystem Development at cloud hosting provider SoftLayer in Dallas. While he was there, SoftLayer was acquired by IBM for $2.5BN and is now the IBM Cloud. Ford has also spent time in corporate development at Rackspace Technology, building out the Cloud Tools ecosystem. He is also a two-time startup co-founder at MyToons and Bauhaus Software, where he raised funding from angels, venture capitalists, and private equity firms. Ford holds a BBA in international business from St. Mary’s University.

I pursued my education in Electronics Engineering and followed it with an MBA with specialization in Finance. I began my career as an Equity Derivatives trader at Deutsche Bank, London. I came back to Bangalore to become co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Gambit, a venture funded start-up, to launch SportsCafe, a multi-sports blog. After a bunch of hardships, we exited this business and pivoted to building mobile games for Indian audiences, where we finally found success. Gambit was acquired in 2021 by Glance InMobi Pte to bring gaming to the Glance userbase. I now lead Engineering and Data Sciences for Nostra, building a gaming ecosystem where hundreds of millions of users can find games they love and powering developers to acquire, retain and re-engage their audiences.

Simon Prickett is the Principal Developer Advocate at Redis. He began his career writing C++ for Hewlett-Packard Labs, and has subsequently held senior roles with companies ranging from startups to enterprises including Capital One, USA Today, and New Zealand’s Customs Service.

Simon has created software for mobile and embedded devices since the late 1990s, from early browser-based cellphone portals to today’s IoT and cloud architectures. The need for high performance, efficiency, and personalization that makes these systems successful led him to discover Redis.

Away from professional life Simon enjoys traveling and building devices with microcontrollers. Simon holds a Computing Science degree from Aston University, located in Birmingham England.
