We seek a highly motivated and experienced Growth Director to lead our efforts in creating and scaling a Product-Led Growth (PLG) motion at Redis. Responsible for Growth, Design, and UX teams.
This unique role combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and creative leadership to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through a seamless, intuitive, and self-service product experience.

What you’ll do:

PLG Strategy and Execution:
– Define, develop, and implement a Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy to increase adoption, conversion, and retention.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align the PLG motion with overall company goals.
– Analyze user behavior, feedback, and product usage data to identify opportunities for frictionless onboarding and growth loops.
– Experiment with new PLG tactics such as freemium models, in-app nudges, and self-serve upgrades to accelerate revenue.

Design Leadership:
– Lead and mentor the design team, ensuring that user-centric design principles are embedded in all aspects of the product experience.
– Work closely with the design team to develop intuitive interfaces and engaging user journeys that align with PLG principles.
– Advocate for a strong design culture, fostering innovation and collaboration to enhance the visual identity and usability of our products.

Team Leadership:
– Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing growth and design team.
– Develop team goals, performance metrics, and career development opportunities for team members.
– Promote a data-driven and creative culture that embraces experimentation, iteration, and continuous improvement.

Data-Driven Insights:
– Leverage data analytics and A/B testing to measure the impact of growth initiatives and iterate on successful strategies.
– Deliver regular updates on growth KPIs, user engagement, and design impact to executive leadership.

Requirements:
– Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in growth strategy, PLG, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
– PLG Expertise: Hands-on experience building or scaling a PLG motion, including implementing self-serve models, onboarding flows, and user engagement strategies.
– Design Savvy: Strong understanding of design principles, UX/UI best practices, and experience leading or collaborating with design teams.
– Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with growth tools, analytics platforms, and data visualization tools to make data-driven decisions.
– Leadership Skills: Exceptional team management, mentorship, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
– Creative Vision: A passion for innovation and a track record of delivering impactful, user-centric experiences.
– Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS, B2B, or developer-centric products is highly desirable.

Extra great if you have:
– Familiarity with Redis or similar technologies.
– Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
