Developers primarily interact with Redis databases through client libraries and integrations. These libraries are widely used across commercial and open source projects. We are looking for an experienced Community Manager that has a solid software development background. A key responsibility of this role is to support the clients and ecosystems group to build strong, lasting connections with their developer communities by actively driving engagement.

What you’ll do:
- Answer community questions on Github, StackOverflow, Discord and other forums
- Triage Github issues and pull requests of open-source projects
- Collaborate closely with the clients and ecosystems engineers to help developers to utilize Redis client libraries and ecosystem integrations
- Foster interactions between our engineering teams and the community, driving collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Track key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure that SLA targets for response times are consistently met
- Identify key events and submit proposals to ‘call for papers’ opportunities on behalf of engineers from the clients and ecosystems group
- Organize local events and meetups within the developer ecosystems
What will you need to have?
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with developers worldwide
- Solid understanding of software development paradigms
- Ability to read and understand source code of several programming languages
- Familiarity with open-source development workflows and platforms
- At least 3 years of experience contributing to developer communities
- Organizational skills for planning events and managing multiple platforms
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Extra great if you have
- Experience with database systems, e.g., Redis
- A good understanding of common development frameworks, e.g., Spring, React, or Flask
- A history of public speaking, content creation, or technical education
