The Role

What type of work will you be doing:

• Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and best practices
• Maintain and enhance existing infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery velocity
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and deployment issues
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and GitOps practices
• Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve workflows
• Support monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
• Own and drive CI/CD and automation initiatives, collaborating closely with R&D and platform teams
• Partner with global stakeholders across Israel, the US, Europe, and APAC to deliver scalable solutions
• Use your expertise in cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes to improve performance and reliability
• Take part in shaping best practices and fostering a culture of ownership and excellence

What You’ll Bring to Redis

Your experience and strengths:

• Proven experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure / Platform Engineer
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (preferably GitHub Actions)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools:
  • ArgoCD
  • Helm
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, deployments, and system design
• Experience working in Linux-based environments
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Curiosity, self-learning ability, and passion for exploring new technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Experience with GitOps practices and workflows
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Augment)
• Experience maintaining large-scale or distributed systems
