VP, Product Marketing
United StatesWho we are
We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?
The opportunity
We're seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to build and lead this function from the ground up as Redis enters its next phase of growth. You'll own the complete product and technical marketing organization, translating our technical depth into compelling narratives that resonate from developers to C-suite buyers. This is your opportunity to architect product marketing from first principles at a company sitting at the intersection of AI, real-time data, and cloud-native architecture, defining how the market understands Redis's role in the future of data infrastructure.
This role demands someone who thrives in the build phase. Someone who would rather create the playbook than inherit one. Who gets fired up about making complex concepts feel simple. Who thinks from first principles, not best practices. And who loves the hard work of building something from scratch.
What you’ll own
- Architect Redis's positioning and narrative for category leadership in real-time data and AI infrastructure
- Build and lead a world-class product and technical marketing organization
- Translate complex distributed systems and real-time data architectures into compelling stories that resonate from developers to C-suite buyers
- Drive product launches, technical content strategy, and developer enablement that creates measurable business impact
- Create messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement that accelerates deal velocity and win rates
- Partner with engineering on feature positioning and technical differentiation, and with analysts to influence industry discourse
What will you need to have?
- 15+ years in product marketing, with 7+ years leading teams at high-growth B2B infrastructure or developer platform companies
- Deep technical fluency: you can discuss distributed systems, vector databases, and real-time data streaming without a translator
- World-class storyteller who makes complex technical concepts accessible to developers, executives, and market analysts
- Proven builder who recruits A+ talent and establishes frameworks that scale
- Track record of launching products into competitive markets and creating category separation
How success will be measured
- Improved sales funnel velocity and conversion rates.
- Increased competitive win rates and improved technical evaluation success.
- Consistent, high-impact launches with measurable adoption, product usage growth, and revenue contribution.
- High-quality content that demonstrably improve pipeline creation, conversion rates, and ACV.
- Clear, durable messaging and narrative alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Hiring, development, and retention of a top-performing Product & Technical Marketing team.
