Lance Martin is a software engineer with a background in applied machine learning. He was an early hire at LangChain, where he has been instrumental in developing their Python open-source library. Before his tenure at LangChain, Lance served as a tech lead and manager, focusing on computer vision technologies for autonomous vehicles and robots at notable companies such as UberATG, Ike, and Nuro. He earned his PhD in applied machine learning from Stanford University.
