Happy New Year! Are you a Redis enthusiast eager to stay ahead of the game with the latest releases? Welcome to my third episode of “What’s New in Two,” your go-to source for Redis updates. In this article, we’ll delve deeper into developments from December, expanding on what I covered in our latest video. I’ve included a video thumbnail above for those who prefer watching a quick recap of this month’s updates. Let’s dive in!
First, in response to user demand, we’re announcing private preview for AWS Transit Gateway for Redis Enterprise. It’s always been possible to connect Redis Enterprise with virtual private cloud (VPCs) in any cloud but this takes it a step further for those who use AWS Transit Gateway.
If you use AWS Transit Gateway and are using Redis Enterprise, reach out to us to see whether there are any seats available left in this private preview.
Next, some huge news! Our new low-cost Fixed Plans are now LIVE, making Redis Cloud the most affordable per gig compared with other providers. Redis in the cloud has never been this cost-effective, providing a low-end entry point for those looking to get started with Redis in a cloud environment. Not only did we reduce the price but we also increased the memory. It’s the best and only cloud-managed offering brought to you by the same developers who build and maintain Redis Open Source and Redis Enterprise. And it’s packed with functionality, such as JSON, Search, and even Vector database capabilities you won’t find anywhere else.
If you would like to try out our free tier or learn more about our new low-cost plans, check out our cloud page to get a first-hand look, or if you’re already using Redis Cloud, create a new low-cost tier to get a test drive.
That’s a wrap for this month’s ‘What’s New in Two,’ where we’ve taken a closer look at Redis’ latest features and enhancements in December. Whether you prefer watching or reading, Redis has you covered. Stay tuned for more valuable updates in my next two-minute episode. And if you missed last month’s update, two minutes is all you need to catch up. Until next time!
