Redis Copilot Terms of Use

powered by openai badge

Your use of Redis Copilot is governed by and subject to the following terms of use (the “Terms”). This is an optional, free service included in the Redis’ documentation website  and Redis Insight, and the use of Redis Insight is subject to the SSPLv1 license, not these Terms. By accessing and/or using Redis Copilot you acknowledge you agree to these Terms. If you are accessing and/or using Redis Copilot on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of such entity.

Redis reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. With respect to Redis Copilot only, these Terms supersede the terms of any other license or agreement between you and Redis or its affiliates for other products, modules and services provided to you by Redis. By accessing and/or using Redis Copilot you acknowledge that these Terms take precedence over any conflicting terms from any other licenses or agreements between you and Redis or its affiliates.

1. Use of Redis Copilot

1.1. My Data Redis Copilot.  When you make a submission (“Input”) to Redis Copilot, Redis Copilot generates responses (“Output”) based on your Input and the relevant information in relation to such Input stored in your database (the “Content”). In order to do so, the Content will be transmitted to Redis’ systems, which will then transmit it to OpenAI API (the “Third-Party GPT”) for a generated Output.

1.2 General Redis Copilot. When you make a submission (“Input”) to Redis Copilot, Redis Copilot generates responses (“Output”) based on your Input and the Redis’ documentation  (the “Content”). In order to do so, the Content will be transmitted to Redis’ systems, which will then transmit it to the Third-Party GPT for a generated Output.

1.3 Redis Copilot uses information generated by the Third-Party GPT and such information is not owned or controlled by Redis. You acknowledge that Outputs may not always be accurate, complete, and/or up to date. Please verify the accuracy and completeness of any Output before its use. Redis Copilot may provide Output that does not reflect Redis’ views, and may generate similar or identical Outputs for other users.

1.4 Redis Copilot is powered by and relies upon the underlying technology of the Third-Party GPT. You acknowledge that Redis does not control the Third-Party GPT’s underlying technology and any changes made by the Third-Party GPT.

2. User Conduct

2.1 You shall only use Redis Copilot in a lawful manner in accordance with these Terms, and any applicable laws. You agree not to (i) represent that any Output is human-generated, (ii) allow, or facilitate a third party, to violate or infringe any rights (including without limitation, copyright, trademark, or privacy rights) of Redis or others, (iii) disassemble, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from any encrypted or encoded portion of Redis Copilot, (iv) use Redis Copilot to promote, conduct, or contribute to any illegal activities, and/or produce any material which could be considered fraudulent, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, and/or inappropriate, and (v) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.
