Gopi Vaddi (Observer)

Gopi is a General Partner at TCV.  He focuses on buyouts and minority investments in software, payments and digital marketplaces.  Gopi was previously a partner at Providence Equity’s growth fund, where he worked on growth buyouts in software and payments covering business applications, vertical software and infrastructure software in the U.S, Asia and Australia. He also held investment banking and investing roles at J.P. Morgan and Columbia Capital and started his career as a software developer.

Gopi holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He also holds an M.S. (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas and a B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad.
