Jolean DeKort

Jolean DeKort’s passion for technology began early. She built her first computer program at age 10, sparking a lifelong curiosity for how systems work and scale. She began her professional career in networking at ANS/UUNET, developing deep expertise in infrastructure during the early evolution of the commercial internet.

Today, Jolean serves as Chief Information Officer at Redis, where she leads global IT strategy, internal AI, enterprise systems, and operations. She is responsible for building secure, scalable technology foundations that enable Redis’s innovation and growth worldwide.

Before joining Redis, Jolean was Interim CIO and Head of ITS Infrastructure Engineering and Operations at Dropbox, leading infrastructure and support for distributed teams globally. She previously served as Vice President of Information Technology at Edelman Financial Engines and held senior IT leadership roles at GoDaddy, helping scale technology organizations during periods of rapid growth.

With more than two decades of experience across networking, infrastructure engineering, and enterprise technology leadership, Jolean is passionate about modernizing systems, empowering teams, and enabling business success through technology.
