Redis expands strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to accelerate real-time data and AI apps

Expanded collaboration will help customers modernize apps, build faster AI experiences, and simplify adoption of Redis Cloud on AWS

Redis has announced an expansion of its strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help organizations build, modernize, and scale the next generation of real time and AI powered apps on AWS.

The collaboration brings Redis as a high performance data platform for modern applications and AI together with the global scale and breadth of AWS. Redis will expand its work across technology integration, customer migration, generative AI, AWS Marketplace, and go to market programs.

As enterprises move AI apps from experimentation into production, application performance, data access, context, and cost are becoming increasingly important. Redis provides a real time data layer for use cases including caching, vector search, semantic caching, session management, and agent memory. Combined with AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, these capabilities can help developers build responsive AI apps while simplifying the underlying data architecture.

The expanded collaboration will focus on four areas.

Accelerating production AI apps

Redis will deepen its work around AI and agentic app architectures. Customers can use Redis Cloud with Amazon Bedrock to support retrieval augmented generation, vector search, semantic caching, and other real time data requirements.

Redis will also collaborate with AWS on reference architectures, technical enablement, and solution patterns designed to help development teams move from AI prototypes to production apps faster.

Modernizing mission critical apps

Redis will work with customers seeking to modernize existing apps and data architectures on AWS. Programs will focus on workloads where performance, availability, scalability, and real time access to data are critical.

Redis intends to provide customers with clearer migration paths, architecture guidance, and technical expertise to reduce migration complexity and accelerate time to value.

Simplifying procurement through AWS Marketplace

Redis Cloud is available through AWS Marketplace, allowing customers to purchase Redis using their existing AWS account and procurement processes.

Redis will continue to simplify how customers discover, purchase, deploy, and expand Redis Cloud on AWS, including support for private offers and enterprise purchasing models.

Expanding customer engagement

Redis will increase coordination across its sales, partner, and technical teams to identify and support customers where Redis Cloud on AWS can accelerate app modernization and AI initiatives.

Redis will develop account plans, customer workshops, solution campaigns, and field enablement focused on driving measurable customer adoption and successful production deployments.

The expanded relationship builds on years of collaboration between Redis and AWS. Redis previously entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS focused on Redis Cloud on AWS, including app modernization, cloud migration, and go to market activities.

Redis Cloud is available today through AWS Marketplace.
