Redis achieves Google Cloud Ready, Distributed Cloud status ahead of Google Cloud Next ‘26
We are heading into Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas with momentum.
Redis has officially been approved as a validated solution on Google Cloud’s Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) platform. Our SaaS-integrated submission for GDC connected has been reviewed, installed, and validated directly within Google Distributed Cloud’s connected infrastructure.
As the ecosystem gathers for Google Cloud Next, our customers and partners are looking for proven, production- ready solutions that are already aligned to Google Cloud architecture. Redis now carries that distinction. By matching GDC’s specific infrastructure requirements, Redis is ready to power the next generation of low-latency, real-time workloads at the edge.
“As organizations build increasingly sophisticated AI and real time applications, having a high performance data layer is critical,” said Eliot Danner, Managing Director, Google Distributed Cloud, Google Cloud. “Redis achieving Google Cloud Ready, Distributed Cloud status on both the GDC connected and GDC air-gapped platforms demonstrates our continued collaboration to support customers running scalable, low latency workloads on their Google environments . We’re pleased to see Redis expanding its availability as a transactable listing through Google Cloud Marketplace for their solution running on GDC connected.”
Why this matters for customers
Organizations building on Google Cloud want speed, resilience, and performance without operational drag. Redis Cloud delivers real-time performance for caching, session management, vector search, AI applications, streaming, and more. Now with Google Cloud’s GDC Ready status, customers can move forward knowing Redis has been tested and approved within the platform environment.
For regulated industries and public sector workloads leveraging GDC connected, validation removes friction in procurement and deployment conversations. It signals readiness. It signals alignment.
Why this matters for partners
For channel partners and Google Cloud-focused SIs, this opens a stronger co-sell and marketplace motion. Redis is positioned for scalable marketplace transactions with a validated footprint. If you are building modernization, AI, or high-performance application stacks on Google Cloud, Redis is now an even easier attachment; driving marketplace revenue and accelerating deals.
Google Cloud Next ‘26
We are excited to carry this momentum into Google Cloud Next in Las Vegas. Our conversations this year will center around AI acceleration, data infrastructure, and application modernization.
If you are attending, come see us at booth #2511.
We will be showcasing how Redis on Google Cloud supports:
- High-performance caching and microservices
- Real-time AI and vector workloads
- Resilient session and application state management
- Scalable marketplace procurement models
And more importantly, we will show you what we are building next.
Visit us at booth #2511 to see Redis in action and learn how we are deepening our integration with Google Cloud.
